All are welcome to our Fellowship of diverse people who come together to nurture each other, to grow ethically, spiritually and intellectually, and to help create a just, safe and caring community.

Half Portion for Social Action
AUUF commits to supporting love and justice in the wider community and wider world through the Half Portion for Social Action. Every Sunday service collection is divided, with half of the unpledged, unrestricted money supporting the fellowship and half going to a specified charitable organization.
Half Portion recipients are comprised of 12 non-profit groups -- a different one each month. The Half Portion Team -- part of the AUUF Social Action Council, manages the selection process. This process usually includes receiving nominations for proposed recipients from the congregation in September and October, forming a ballot of 20 possible recipients, and online voting for finalists by members in November. The AUUF Minister's Caring Fund is supported by collections on the fifth Sunday on months that have five Sundays.
Note: If you contribute your pledge by placing it in the offering basket, please be sure to mark the Memo line on the check as "PLEDGE" or put payment in a sealed envelope clearly marked as PLEDGE. Otherwise half of your check will be a Social Action donation.
