All are welcome to our Fellowship of diverse people who come together to nurture each other, to grow ethically, spiritually and intellectually, and to help create a just, safe and caring community.
Greetings,
My name is Jennifer Bluntach and I am so grateful, excited, and feel so fortunate for the opportunity to step into the role as the new DRE at AUUF! I look forward to meet everyone and learn more about what the members and friends of the Fellowship are passionate about as well as how I can be of best service to the community. This is going to be a great adventure!
I was born, raised and have lived in northern Minnesota my entire life. I have a beautiful blended family. My husband is Ryan, daughter Hannah (26), her partner Jake(25), grandson Theodore(2), son Jack (22), step-son Austin (18), step-daughter Emma (16), step-daughter Autumn (9).
For eleven years I worked as the Activity Director at a retirement community. For the past five years I have been the office manager and youth director at Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. I love planning events (especially themed events!), youth retreats, youth trips, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities in the community and much more! I have planned and organized two high school youth group retreats in Wisconsin and taken the youth to two week long high school youth conferences in Montreat, North Carolina. At the beginning of June I will be taking them to North Carolina for one last trip together.
I’m excited to hear what the youth at AUUF might be interested in and passionate about. I always tell kids to dream big! We’ve made some of those dreams a reality at Community Presbyterian and we can do the same at the Fellowship!
Some of my other interests are any activities I can do with my grandson and family, baking, cooking, thrifting, antiquing, Minnesota Timberwolves basketball and traveling somewhere new whenever possible! I am early to bed and early to rise. Even though I love and value community, I am an introvert and appreciate those days with absolutely zero plans. The days that I can just hang out at home with a cup of good coffee, read a book, watch a documentary and maybe even take an afternoon nap help me to recharge.
My husband, dad and myself will be visiting Anchorage June 22-July 1. I plan to come to the 11am service at the Fellowship on June 23. Please introduce yourself to me if you are there! I’m good with remembering faces but it may take me some time to remember names. I’ll do my best!
With gratitude and great excitement,
Jennifer Bluntach
